Rachel (vocalist) and Bobby (guitarist) met in 2007, and have played music together since discovering a mutual love of heavy rock/metal.
Bobby is the creative mastermind; giving the band the foundations of each song, he is always writing and developing his skill as a guitarist. His influences vary greatly and include David Gilmour, Guthrie Govan and Plini.

Standing 5’1”, Rachel’s vocals are a welcome surprise. She packs a powerful punch, with her soulful and potent voice. She prides herself on having an extremely vast taste in music, and claims that she learnt how to sing through RnB and Pop. Early influences for Rachel include Michael Jackson and a number of 90's boybands – the multiple harmonies and vocal gymnastics are initially what drew her to singing. She cites Maynard James Keenan and Brandon Boyd as her current influences.
Dan Chincharo (drummer and Bobby's younger brother), learnt how to play drums by playing Guitar Hero - World Tour at age 14, and joined Bobby, Rachel and friend Jimmy (bassist), to form a band called Withdrawal Symphony in 2013. Danny Carey was a very early influence for him, but as he learnt how to play on a real drum kit, Gavin Harrison and Marco Minnemann became favourites.

After Jimmy departed, Daniel P, originally from Venezuela, joined the band to play bass.Originally playing for ‘Triad’ and ‘Telegramma’ back home, Pirone developed his proficiency as a bassist, and had some great successes with these bands, eventually playing under Korn at a local festival. He is a very talented musician, and has great ideas of how to push Code 8’s songs to another level. His influences include Oceansize, Muse, Deftones and Tool.
The band was renamed Code 8, and this current line-up has been playing together since July 2015.
